Run a Mini- Marathon for time!

Rest 1 Minute
THEN
10 Minute AMRAP
5 Burpees
10 Squats
15 Sit Ups
Rounds 7 and 28 Reps
The mini was everything I thought it was and then some! It was a great test of physical and mental strength. I have a new respect for runners, BUT they still need to have a healthy balance of running and strength training. My overall pace was 10:00 average. The first 6 or 7 miles I kept at a 9 something pace but I knew I would not be able to maintain it all 13.1 miles. IOverall I had a great time running, however, I am in no hurry to run another mini, especially without training.
